The mountains meet the sea with this twist on an old beach-side classic. The last sun lounger's been taken? No worries, turns out it's delicious anywhere.

This recipe from “Daly’s Bartenders’ Encyclopedia” (1903) by Tim Daly, is the earliest recorded version of a Tuxedo cocktail in a cocktail book. He calls for ‘Maple Gin’ to be used, but as there are none of these left (that we can find), we simply added a little Jake’s Maple Syrup to recreate the recipe, and it’s delicious.

So get some friends over, get your cocktail shaker out and they'll think you're the tree's knees!
